Beginners E-File Course

This course has been designed to help you develop both your knowledge and your practical skills so you can confidently offer E-File Manicures. It focuses on introducing you to essential techniques, correct handling and safe operation, helping you gain confidence before progressing to more advanced work.

Learning to use an e-file is a game changer. Not only does it save time and reduce strain on your body, but it also allows for a more precise, hygienic and thorough manicure service.

By completing this training, you’ll gain the knowledge and confidence to use an e-file safely and effectively, while building a strong foundation in both nail anatomy and tool awareness. E-File manicures are all about control, confidence and safety. With the right techniques, you’ll reduce the risk of damage, improve product retention and support the long-term health of the natural nail.

    Course Requirements

    BEGINNERS E-FILE COURSE REQUIREMENTS

    You must have a qualification in Manicure or Gel Polish and email your certificate to info@jljnailacademy.co.uk before your course attendance.

    E-FILE RUSSIAN MANICURE COURSE REQUIREMENTS

    You must have a qualification in E-file and email your certificate to info@jljnailacademy.co.uk before your course attendance.

     E-FILE PEDICURE COURSE REQUIREMENTS

    You must have a qualification in E-file and email your certificate to info@jljnailacademy.co.uk before your course attendance.

    On the Day

    FULL KIT IS PROVIDED FOR USE ON THE DAY.

    • You are welcome to bring your own E-file if you wish
 to.
    • You will be working on yourself

    • For E-file and Russian Manicure you MUST have product (builder gel, hard gel or acrylic) on your nails with gel polish over and with 2-3 weeks regrowth.
    • For Pedicure you MUST have gel polish on your nails with 2-3 weeks regrowth.

    You do not need to purchase anything for your course. In fact, we recommend that you wait until you have attended to find out which e-file bits you prefer to use instead of buying ones that may just sit in your drawer!

    You will be required to meet assessment criteria on the day in order to pass the course. If you do not meet the criteria you will be asked to provide case studies.
