This course has been designed to help you develop both your knowledge and your practical skills so you can confidently offer Russian Manicures – a highly advanced technique that combines precision, efficiency and professional standards.

By completing this training, you’ll gain the knowledge and confidence to use an e-file safely and effectively, while building a strong foundation in both nail anatomy and tool awareness.

Russian Manicure is all about attention to detail. Using specialised e- file bits, you’ll learn how to carefully prepare the natural nail plate and surrounding skin for a flawless application. With the correct techniques, this service reduces the risk of product breakdown, enhances retention and supports long-term nail health.

Course Requirements

BEGINNERS E-FILE COURSE REQUIREMENTS

You must have a qualification in Manicure or Gel Polish and email your certificate to info@jljnailacademy.co.uk before your course attendance.

E-FILE RUSSIAN MANICURE COURSE REQUIREMENTS

You must have a qualification in E-file and email your certificate to info@jljnailacademy.co.uk before your course attendance.

 E-FILE PEDICURE COURSE REQUIREMENTS

You must have a qualification in E-file and email your certificate to info@jljnailacademy.co.uk before your course attendance.

On the Day

FULL KIT IS PROVIDED FOR USE ON THE DAY.

  • You are welcome to bring your own E-file if you wish
 to.
  • You will be working on yourself

  • For E-file and Russian Manicure you MUST have product (builder gel, hard gel or acrylic) on your nails with gel polish over and with 2-3 weeks regrowth.
  • For Pedicure you MUST have gel polish on your nails with 2-3 weeks regrowth.

You do not need to purchase anything for your course. In fact, we recommend that you wait until you have attended to find out which e-file bits you prefer to use instead of buying ones that may just sit in your drawer!

You will be required to meet assessment criteria on the day in order to pass the course. If you do not meet the criteria you will be asked to provide case studies.
