Standard Vs HEPA Filter

Not all filters are created equal. At Lilly Beau, we believe in choice through education. That's why we offer both Standard and HEPA/H13 Filters - so you can choose the level of protection that's right for you.

What does HEPA mean?

HEPA = High Efficiency Particulate Air

It's a category, not a single filter. Grades range from H10-H14 with H13 offering medical-grade filtration.

H13 = A type of HEPA filter - one of the highest performing grades. All H13 filters are HEPA, but not all HEPA filters are H13.

Our Filter Comparisons:

Standard Filters:

100% of 1.5um dust, 80% of 1um dust & 10% of 0.3um dust.

HEPA/H13 Filters:

99.97% of 0.3um dust, 95% of 0.1um dust, tackles VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) & tackles toxic gases.

Why it Matters for Nail Techs:

When you file or e-file, you release various sizes of dust and chemical vapours.

Constant exposure to nail dust can lead to respiratory issues, skin irritation, headaches and/or fatigue.

A high quality filter isn't optional, it's essential for your health and salon air quality.
