When to replace your drill bits

Do you know when to replace your drill bits?

Your e-file is only as good as your drill bits. Using worn out drill bits can cause heat, damage the natural nail and slow you down.

It may not always be easy to see from the eye (unless you compare them side by side). However, it is super important to replace your drill bits regularly for both safety and results.

A few signs it's time to replace:

Reduced Performance - If you notice reduced efficiency, the need to turn the speed up on your e-file, increased pressure during use or, the need for multiple strokes to remove product, it's likely your drill bit is worn out.

Visible Wear - Look for dullness, smooth spots or change in the texture, especially on carbide or diamond bits.

It's always a good habit to keep track of when you started to use the drill bit as a reminder of when they may need replacing.
