Prep Powder

Our talc free Prep powder is applied to the nail plate and cuticle area before e-file cuticle work to absorb excess moisture and oils from the skin and natural nail. This creates a drier surface, allowing the diamond bit to exfoliate non-living tissue more cleanly and efficiently.

For clients with naturally moist skin or perspiration around the cuticle area, prep powder helps improve visibility and control during prep work while also reducing friction buildup. It prevents softened skin and debris from compacting into the grit of the diamond bit, which helps minimise clogging and keeps the bit performing effectively throughout the service.

Using prep powder can also support a cleaner cuticle finish and more precise nail preparation prior to product application.
