Maintaining your E-File:

  • Clean it regularly - Use a soft brush or cloth to gently remove dust and debris after each use. Never use liquids near the handpiece.
  • Avoid dropping or knocking it - Store it securely and avoid any impact that could damage the motor.
  • Use dust caps - We recommend using dust caps on your drill bits to help protect the longevity of your E-File. Make sure that you're thoroughly drying your dust caps as water can get trapped in the well of the cap which can then run down into your handpiece, causing corrosion and problems with your E-File.
  • Insert your bits correctly - Always use compatible e-file bits and ensure they're inserted correctly to avoid vibration or damage.
  • Drill bits - Thoroughly dry all of your drill bits before re-use.
